Fists #9540
Welcome to amateur radio station KC2KFC. The station is located in Elma, NY approximately 11 miles (18km) east of Buffalo, NY.
My name is Kevin and I am pictured here sitting at the control point of my modest amateur radio station. I enjoy working CW on all bands from 80 thru 10 meters and also the occasional SSB QSO on any band. Lately I've been spending most of my on air time chasing DX, but I always enjoy a ragchew on CW. I am a QRS op (15-20 wpm). I'm slowly increasing my speed with the hopes of some day being able to ragchew at a QRQ speed of 35 - 40 wpm. I find ham radio a nice diversion from my daily job as a systems analyst and network administrator. I'm also a musician with an interest in Theatre Pipe Organs.
I enjoy collecting QSL cards and will always QSL you for a first time QSO. I usually mail out the card within 24 - 48 hours of the QSO. DX QSL's are sent via the ARRL outgoing bureau unless you have a stateside QSL manager, then I will send the card to the QSL manager.
